The educator, BI analyst and document QA pages on Ethos all describe remote work on your own schedule. None of those three pages names a list of eligible countries or a specific currency code. Remote describes where the work happens; it does not establish that every applicant can be contracted or paid.
The pages were checked on 12 October 2026. Here is what to establish before spending time on an application.
Can Ethos contract and pay someone in your country?
Ask whether your country is supported for the particular project and its payment route. Section 10 of the Expert Terms says Ethos determines supported payment jurisdictions and currencies. A remote label is not enough to answer this.
What does the advertised rate cover?
The three listings advertise $70/hour or $80/hour. Confirm the currency, whether screening or onboarding is paid, and what counts as billable work. Do not multiply the displayed rate by the maximum weekly hours and treat the result as expected income.
The listings describe a flexible commitment of 5–20 hours a week. Ethos's Expert Terms do not guarantee the quantity or availability of projects, or that an applicant will be selected.
Does your experience match the exact role?
The educator and BI roles ask for at least four years of relevant experience; document QA asks for at least five. Each also names particular workflows. Choose the listing you can support with your actual work history. Do not submit confidential employer or client material to prove experience.
What happens during screening?
The pages say Ethos reviews applications and may invite applicants to a short AI voice screen. This article contains no interview questions, assessment answers or promise of acceptance. Confirm the steps in the current application flow.
If you match one of these backgrounds, start with its official page: educators, BI/data analysts, or document QA. These three links are direct official links, not referral links.
