An AI project does not always ask you to code. Three Ethos listings focus on the professional documents you already know how to judge: lesson plans, business dashboards and client-ready spreadsheets or presentations.

The useful question is which work you have actually owned. These are experienced-professional roles, not entry-level tasks. Their application pages were checked on 12 October 2026.

If you work in K-12 education

The Educator / School Professional listing asks for at least four years in teaching, instructional coaching or school administration. It also asks for responsibility for curriculum planning, parent communications or school-improvement documentation.

The AI work includes creating and checking lesson plans, curriculum maps, student-progress narratives and other school documents. If your background matches, describe the work you personally owned rather than relying on a generic interest in education.

If you build dashboards and business reporting

The BI/data analyst listing asks for at least four years building BI dashboards, KPI reporting and self-service analytics. It names SQL, a BI or visualisation tool, and the ability to turn data into a clear business explanation.

Listed work includes KPI dashboards, SQL data pulls, data-quality checks and metric definitions, alongside documents and slides. It is a closer fit for someone who has owned reporting decisions than someone who has only completed a software tutorial.

If you check documents before they go to clients

The document QA listing asks for at least five years reviewing business documents, spreadsheets and decks before external delivery. It specifically names formula errors, broken links, mismatched figures and formatting drift.

Think about whether you can explain how you found an error and decided a file was ready to send. That is general preparation advice, not a disclosed assessment question. Only use examples you are allowed to share.

Check the conditions before investing time

All three pages describe remote work, flexible 5–20 hours a week and a possible short AI voice screen. That is not a promise of work or paid hours. The pages do not identify a specific currency code or eligible countries.

Confirm your country's application and payment eligibility, the offered currency and rate, what work is billable, and current task availability. Ethos's Expert Terms do not guarantee projects or selection. Open the matching role page again before applying; availability and requirements can change.
